Molde casero de gelatina DIY
[:es]Hoy os vamos a enseñar a hacer un molde casero de gelatina para gelatina. Es decir, usaremos gelatina para hacer un molde y luego lo rellenaremos de gelatina para conseguir lo que queremos. Para hacerla vamos a necesitar gelatina neutra en dos densidades diferentes y colorantes.
Empezamos haciendo la gelatina siguiendo las instrucciones del fabricante. En nuestro caso en más o menos son 10 gr. de gelatina por medio litro de agua. Ponemos esa gelatina ya preparada en unos vasos de cristal, pero antes los tenemos que untar un poquito en aceite para poder desmoldar luego bien la gelatina. Ahora metemos el objeto del que queremos sacar el molde, en nuestro caso es un patito de goma amarillo. Antes de meter el patito, lo engrasamos bien con aceite para que luego la gelatina se pueda despegar. Y como el patito flota al meterlo en el vaso, le ponemos un palito de helado para que permanezca sumergido. También hay que procurar que el objeto no llegue al fondo del vaso porque se quedaría un agujero en la parte de abajo del molde.
Ahora metemos nuestro vaso en la nevera y dejamos cuajar. Suelen ser unas 3 horas aproximadamente aunque hay gelatinas que necesitan más. Una vez que se ha endurecido, separamos la gelatina del vaso y desmoldamos. Con un cuchillo caliente cortamos la gelatina por la mitad y con mucho cuidado sacamos el patito.
Se quedará la forma del pato en la gelatina y es lo que vamos a usar como molde para hacer nuestro patito de gelatina.
Preparamos entonces nuestra gelatina para hacer el pato. Tiene que ser más espesa que la del molde, así que si antes hemos puesto 10 gr, ahora ponemos 20 gr por la misma cantidad de agua. Además le añadimos colorante amarillo y si queremos también algún sabor porque la gelatina neutra no sabe a nada. Volvemos a juntar las dos piezas de gelatina de nuestro molde en el vaso y echamos por arriba la gelatina amarilla. En el hueco donde antes estaba el patito, ahora estará la gelatina amarilla. Volvemos a meter en la nevera y dejamos que se cuaje. Luego desmoldamos con cuidado y ya tenemos nuestro patito.
